be fast, be consistent, do not interrupt, do not notify, do not give information that does not help, hard things can be hard (but not impossible), undo is better than yesnocancel, fail gracefully, do not forget, provide more than one navigation, design before you code. These rules rule!
hypens instead of —, periods instead of …, using dumb quotes, double spacing between sentences, using (C) instead of ©, using too much emphasis, underlining hypertext links, faking italics in photoshop, not using accent characters, not using CSS for capitalization. One point is missing: spacing around slashes and before exclamation marks or question marks. It does not look / feel right !
